Exhibition Graphics:
Piranesi’s Rome

This design included text panels, art labels, and vinyl signage for Piranesi’s Rome at the Luther W. Brady Gallery at the Corcoran School of the Arts & Design at the George Washington University, featuring etchings by the 18th century artist Giovanni Battista Piranesi. The design was inspired by Piranesi’s etched linework and two 18th-century typefaces: Bodoni (by Italian printer and type designer Giambattista Bodoni) and Caslon (by English typefounder William Caslon I), including its ornaments and manicules.

After its run at the Brady Gallery, the the Italian Cultural Institute of Washington brought the exhibition to the Embassy of Italy in Washington, D.C.
